Capability 03 — Content Production

Brand films, photography and motion that earn attention

People remember what they see long after they forget what they read. We plan, shoot and edit the films, photographs and short-form content that make a business look as good as it is.

Visual storytelling

Content that makes
a brand feel real

The brain processes images far faster than text, and trust is built in the first few seconds. Visual content is where a brand either feels credible or feels generic.

Greydot’s content production practice makes films and photographs that carry a strategy, not just a camera. Before anyone is on set, we know who the content is for, what they need to feel and what they should do afterwards. That keeps production focused, shortens edits and makes every frame earn its place.

We work with manufacturers who need a factory film that wins export enquiries, hospitality brands that want guests to feel the property before they arrive, food and consumer brands that need hungry-making product photography, and technology companies that need a complicated product explained in ninety seconds.

The same story then flows through the website, the sales deck, the social channels and print, so each shoot pays off many times over.

What we produce

Six formats,
one visual language

01

Brand films and corporate videos

Founder stories, company films, culture videos and testimonials that put a human face on the business.

02

Product and commercial photography

Clean, consistent product shots and lifestyle imagery for catalogues, marketplaces, e-commerce and campaigns.

03

Reels and social motion

Short-form video designed for Instagram, LinkedIn, YouTube and paid channels, not recycled from long-form.

04

Animation and motion graphics

Explainers, logo animation and data visualisation that make complex ideas easy to follow.

05

Industrial and architectural shoots

Factory tours, plant walkthroughs, project documentation and property films with proper lighting and scale.

06

Event and campaign coverage

Launches, conferences and activations captured, edited and delivered fast enough to still be relevant.

Production process

From idea to
final delivery

We manage the complete production journey so you review at defined checkpoints rather than managing a crew.

01

Concept and creative direction

We translate the brand strategy into a clear creative idea, tone and visual references, and agree what success looks like.

Scripts, interview questions and storyboards are written and approved before the camera rolls, so the shoot day is efficient.

Delivery and repurposing

Final files in the formats and aspect ratios each platform needs, plus cut-downs and stills so one shoot feeds many channels.

Built for platforms

One shoot,
many outputs

A single production day should not produce a single video. We plan every shoot with the full distribution picture in mind, so the footage and photographs serve the website, sales conversations, social feeds and print.

  • Website: hero films, product loops, team and facility galleries in modern, fast-loading formats.
  • Social: vertical reels, square and landscape cut-downs, captions and thumbnails tailored to each platform’s behaviour.
  • Sales and investor decks: short clips and hero images that give presentations more weight.
  • Print and packaging: high-resolution photography for brochures, catalogues, signage and retail.

The same thinking applies to photographs. We shoot with composition and negative space in mind so the images can be cropped for banners, cards and thumbnails without losing the subject. That is also why image files delivered for the web are renamed and described properly, which helps accessibility and search.

Why produce with a brand studio

Strategy on
both sides of the lens

A freelance videographer can give you footage. A brand studio gives you footage that fits. Because the same team defines the brand strategy, writes the script and designs the graphics, the finished piece sounds like your brand, looks like your brand and says what your sales team needs it to say.

It also means fewer surprises. Creative direction is signed off early, the schedule is realistic, and nobody discovers on the edit day that the logo does not work on the lower third. When the content is finished it is already aligned with the website and the printed material, which saves weeks of rework.

If you are exploring the topic, our article on visual storytelling with photography and film goes deeper into how to plan a content programme that builds trust and drives conversions.

Questions

Frequently asked
questions

Brand films, corporate videos, product videos, commercial and product photography, social media content, motion graphics, animation, event coverage and marketing videos, along with the written and designed material that supports them. Explore content production.

Yes: concept, scriptwriting, storyboarding, production planning, filming, editing, colour grading, motion graphics and final delivery in the formats each platform needs. You review at defined stages rather than at the very end.

Yes. We create platform-specific content for Instagram, LinkedIn, Facebook, YouTube and paid channels, designed around a consistent brand look and voice rather than one-off posts that do not add up.

It depends on scope and complexity. A focused branding project can take several weeks, while a website build, a film or a multi-channel programme needs longer. After the first consultation we share a realistic timeline with milestones rather than a vague estimate.
